Gratitude Attitude

I know a lot has been written about the power of gratitude to change one’s life. Even so, I don’t think anyone can ever say too much about it. Practicing gratitude for everything in your life is at the foundation of a spiritual existence.

We come from Source. Source is our source. And the source of everything in our lives, including what we have, what we think, how we live, and what we allow into our consciousness. Everything that flows into our lives comes as a result of the law of attraction.

This law of attraction could just as easily be called “Resonance.”  If you put two pianos in a room that are properly tuned, and you play the middle C note on one piano, you will see that the string for middle C is also vibrating on the other piano.  That is because the two strings resonate to each other.  The activation of one automatically activates the other.

Just as the strings on the piano vibrate, and therefore resonate to each other, our thoughts vibrate and resonate to the corresponding situations. Thoughts of gratitude bring more things to be grateful for. Thoughts of lack attract more thoughts which are conscious of how much we lack, and therefore create or attract more situations of lack.

Gratitude is probably the most important thing you can start with if you want to improve the circumstances of your life. Be grateful that you have air to breathe, that you can read, that there are so many wonderful things in this life to explore.

I am in the process of finishing my new book about gratitude  ( I call it Gratitude Attitude), which I hope will be published within a few months.  The wonderful thing about working on this book, is that it keeps me in a state of awareness of the importance of gratitude and of how much I have to be grateful for.

I have visited some of the poorest areas in the world, and I guarantee that if you are in a first world country, you have much to be grateful for. There are so many people in the world who do not even have the most basic needs met. And those of us in the modern countries who have our basic needs met have much to be grateful for. Expressing gratitude for even the smallest thing such as enough food to eat, will help bring more things into your life for which you can express gratitude.

Think of five things every day that you are grateful for. Write them down. And express thanks that these are in your life.

New Moon — New Beginnings

Today is the New Moon, the time for new beginnings. It is the perfect time to plant the seeds of your future. I suggest you perform a New Moon Prosperity ritual every New Moon if possible. It is the most powerful if you do it within 24 hours after the New Moon.

As part of my process, I made some Blank Prosperity Checks to use to write checks from the Universe to myself. I made them look like the bank checks we are accustomed to seeing. There are three checks on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. Here is what they look like: Continue reading

Energy Follows Attention

This video — a little over 7 minutes long — gives a very good explanation about what we give our attention to and how it affects our lives. Have you ever noticed that when things get “bad” they seem to compound and get worse? Or that when things start going well, lots of things start to line up how you want them?

It has audio with a static image, so you don’t have to actually WATCH it — you can just listen to it and get great info.

Act As If or Fake it 'Til you Make It

For many years I’ve heard that in order to get from where we are to where we want to be, we are supposed to “Act As If” we were already there. A companion phrase that I heard oft-repeated was “Fake it ’til you make it.” Back then, I understood the theory (sort of), but I could not understand how a person who is 100 pounds overweight could look in the mirror and act as if (s)he was thin.

I could not see how one could act as if (s)he was wealthy when a glance at the bank account showed less than $100 to last the next two weeks. How could one act as if (s)he was in a great job when it was the same thing (s)he wanted to get out of? If they pretended things were different, were they in denial?

On the HoloDeck

You are the master and creator of your HoloDeck and all of the virtual experiences, running as programs on your HoloDeck. They seem so real to you that you call them your life experience.

A common question from people who come for readings is, “How can I learn to create my reality?” Guidance always says you cannot learn it. You cannot learn what you already know. You cannot learn it because you are already doing it — every second, every minute, every day, every situation.

What you can learn is to pay attention to how you do it. Pay attention to the repeating patterns in your life. Especially the ones you are trying to prevent or the things you are trying to avoid. The repeating patterns in your life are the programs you are running on your HoloDeck. Everything in your life is running on your HoloDeck, every experience, situation, observation is on your HoloDeck and the repeating patterns are the obvious evidence of it.

I knew a guy many years ago who kept having problems with burglaries and vandalism. Austin (not his real name) moved to a better neighborhood. Another burglary. Continue reading

Doing the Impossible

Today is the 41st anniversary of the first person walking on the moon. Less than 8 years earlier, on September 12, 1962, President John F. Kennedy gave the “We Choose to Go to the Moon” speech announcing plans to go to the Moon before the end of the decade.

What an ambitious task! Especially in retrospect. Given the technology of 48 years ago when the announcement was made and 41 years ago when Apollo 11 went to the moon, it seems like they did the impossible. We have 10 times more memory and computing power in the average smart phone today than the astronauts had on their spaceship. Can you imagine using your iPhone or BlackBerry as your only computing resource for space travel?

Henry Ford is credited with saying, “Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.” NASA, the astronauts and their support systems believed they could achieve this monumental goal in the 1960s.

Most people alive today do not remember Apollo 11. They have grown up watching Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate, etc. They think of warp drives, worm holes, “Beam me up, Scotty,” and cloaking devices as the technologies that go with space travel. Apollo 11 had none of that and yet they made it to the moon, and to me the more amazing part — they made it back to Earth safely!

Here is the launch:

And the first moon walk.

I Am Eternal

When I am falling to sleep at night, I often “hear” these words over and over:

I Am Eternal
I Am Source
I have the Power to Create Worlds
I Love, Accept and Allow
I reject nothing

Everything exists in Me
My reservoir is without limit
All is Possible
All is Probable
It is up to You to Choose what you will

Of course I don’t hear it with my ears. But the words run through my mind over and over. My guidance is reminding me of the vast power available to us as we enter the formless dimension of sleep.

I have decided to read it aloud to myself a few times each morning so I set out with this knowledge each day. Beginning each day with the knowledge that I am eternal and powerful feels good. Knowing that I have access to Source and all-that-is is comforting. My confidence is boosted when I internalize this knowing.

Create Your Fortune by Letting Go of “What Is”

Almost everyone has a long list of things they want in their life that have not yet manifested. High on those lists are lots of money, a new house, a new car, a great job, meeting one’s soulmate, perfect health, long life and more.

The Law of Attraction says that whatever you desire is coming toward you, by virtue of the fact that you desire it and put your attention on it. Your energy, resonating at a frequency of desire for something sets up a corresponding resonant frequency in the something you want so it is attracted to you. So why do so many people NOT have what they desire?

I believe it’s because they pay far too much attention to the ABSENCE of their desires in their lives. Continue reading

The Field of Infinite Potential

his is a channeled message I received recently:

Dear Ones,

There is a Field of Infinite Potential that exists beyond the perceptions of most people. This field is at the heart of Source. It is the place where worlds — and everything else — are created. Your scientists call it The Zero-Point Field or The Quantum Field. Your films refer to it as The Matrix.

This field is empty, yet it is the Source of all-that-is. It knows every thought that has ever been thought and every emotion that has ever been felt. Access to this field is very simple, though it is not always easy. Focused thought and belief are the keys to the field.

Do you realize that you have all of the tools necessary to create the life you desire? You have mind, thought and emotion. If you can slow down, pay attention, focus your thoughts deliberately, while letting go of resistance, you can access your greatest desires.
