I’ve known lots of people who tried affirmations to no avail.
For those new to this, an affirmation is a positive, present-tense statement about something you want to create in your life. Here are a few examples:
Money comes easily to me.
I am healthy, whole and complete.
I am loving and lovable.
I am thankful for my new job.
My romantic partner is loving and kind.
I am the perfect weight for my height.
My life flows easily.
People are friendly and helpful.
My life is full of joy.
My income is constantly increasing.
People appreciate my contributions.
I am successful.
I love myself the way I am.
The video here refers to 2012 and coming changes. I personally am NOT attached to the ideas of 2012 being a point of no return, so I DO NOT see an end to the world and I don’t necessarily think of people being “left behind.” I don’t see it as an US against THEM situation. Though I know and respect people who subscribe to the theories about the Illuminati plots, I am NOT one of them.
For me it does not make any sense. It seems that that these plot theories basically say we can create our own reality through Law of Attraction EXCEPT the things the Illuminati control, for they have ultimate power over some things. In my world there are no exceptions to the Law of Attraction. Not even a supposedly very powerful group can override my power to create my own reality. If there is an Illuminati, then it must be the result of the Law of Attraction creating it from the hundreds of thousands who believe in them and their plots.
However, I like how some of the information is presented. I am especially interested in the practice of unconditional love, practicing kindness and knowing that our thoughts become manifestations. These pieces are well presented. Hope you enjoy it.
These videos are from a presentation by Dr. Wayne Dyer and Dr. Bruce Lipton done by Hay House. These guys are two of my favorite authors. They talk about various scientific discoveries that further support the roles of Mind and Thought in healing.
Everything in your Mind can fix everything in your body. Your Mind creates the environment for your cells. What you believe about your body and your health is important!
I love these videos! They act as nice, succinct reminders about how powerful we really are. I hope you love them, too.
The United States is a nation known for its fast food chains, processed foods, high fructose drinks (weren’t we called the Coca Cola nation at some point?) and fostering an increasing sedentary lifestyle. We are known as a nation of cowboys – men who give one-word answers and whose actions express their deepest feelings – and Scarlet O’Hara’s – overly emotional and superficial women who only want to be taken care of. Although these are two pretty outdated and unfair stereotypes, a lot of Americans seem to wear them proudly.
Our nation is also one of the most overweight countries in the world and, therefore, obsessed with weight loss. Most magazines, television talk shows and nutrition experts claim that our unhealthy eating habits and lack of physical activity is the root of most overweight issues of Americans. I believe the impetus of our weight challenges is not just our negative physical habits; it’s our emotional, mental, and spiritual states of being.
I have had challenges with my weight since by early twenties. I remember graduating from college, moving back home and launching my job search. I mailed out hundreds of resumes and rarely received a response. Although I worked as a temp to make money and networking connections, I became increasingly disillusioned and unhappy. I started eating more to hide my hurt and frustration. Before I knew it I had gone from a size 10 to a size 18 in a matter of eight months. Although I was working out a couple of times a week, I was so focused on my job search that I didn’t realize my additional weight until I finally got a job and went shopping for appropriate clothes. I was devastated.
The Flow of Light Chakra is the second of four chakras in the Heart Region of body; it is located in the right breast. This chakra allows us to realize our permanence in the universe. We are and will always be a constant flow of light, love, and life force radiating out energizing the universe. Part of our spiritual journey is to know and be (go into action) as this constant flow of energy radiating out to support the universe. The spiritual symbol for this chakra is a crystal sphere and its color vibration is emerald green.
“Jacqueline” is a real estate broker, has three grown children and is currently married to her second husband. She describes most of her life as being difficult. She grew up relatively poor after her mom divorced her dad when she was six years old. Her mom moved Jacqueline and her siblings from Cleveland to a small town about 150 miles away so the family could have a “fresh start.”
Valentine’s Day (Sunday, February 14) is the New Moon, the time for new beginnings. Since it is also associated with sweethearts and love, I suspect there will be even more people starting new relationships, getting engaged, etc., because of the influence of the new moon.
This is a particularly auspicious New Moon because it is also Chinese New Year!
It is the perfect time to plant the seeds of your future. I suggest you perform a New Moon Prosperity ritual every New Moon if possible. It is the most powerful if you do it within 24 hours after the New Moon. Obviously, you can make the emphasis of your New Moon ritual about relationships if you choose!
One of the best things you can do if you are wanting to manifest more is to be grateful for what you have. The act of sincere gratitude, appreciation and thanks focuses your attention on your blessings and bounty. As you know by now, you get more of what you focus upon.
As part of my process, I made some Blank Prosperity Checks to use to write checks from the Universe to myself. I made them look like the bank checks we are accustomed to seeing. There are three checks on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. Here is what they look like: Continue reading →
The Bliss Chakra, primarily known by its Sanskrit name, Anahata, is the first chakra located in the Heart Region of the body. This chakra, when open and balanced, allows us to connect and communicate with each other, the universe and our guides on a very deep level of consciousness in an expression of love, joy and compassion.
This chakra is located on the spine opposite the middle of the chest and near the heart. It has two color vibrations, green and pink. The green vibration is primarily thought of as a healing color although I believe it also represents prosperity, abundance and vitality. The pink vibration is thought of primarily to mean various stages and expressions of love, such as passionate love, childlike love, endearing love, familial love, romantic love, sexual love, and mature love.
Both of these color vibrations are perfect in understanding how we attract exactly what we want into our lives. The key to living an abundantly fulfilling life is our willingness to be open to the expression and vibration of love by being vulnerable enough to give and receive it graciously. Wouldn’t we all live in a state of bliss if we were willing to surround ourselves with love all of the time?
I had several friends who wanted to “play in the cosmos” and see what these wonderful Goddesses might have to say about some aspects of their lives. So here are some revelations!
Janice: Is there realty a Fountain of Youth? Goddesses: Yes, it is your inner passion manifest for the world to see! You must be passionate about your life. What gives you inspiration, joy and happiness? What drives you and brings vitality into your life? Who supports your full expression of you? Accessing the Fountain of Youth is a matter of you getting to know your Self and learning how to live a passionately led life.
You don’t do this by compromising yourself and your ideals. You don’t do this by watching television (watching other people’s interpretation of life) a great deal of time. You don’t do this by judging or finding fault in others. Find out whom you are. See your grandness! Express your interpretation of love to the world and your inner light will course through every cell of your body. This light is your Fountain of Youth. You will always be young if you stay passionate about yourself and life!
I saw the movie “The Shift” with Wayne Dyer in it (a few times — I have it on DVD.) There’s a great song that plays over the credits at the end called “Don’t Go With Your Song Still Inside You” by Ethan Lipton and His Orchestra.
It’s a great theme for all of us. Most people, when they are dying, don’t regret what they have done. They regret what they DIDN’T DO. What they didn’t learn (like painting or dancing), the chance they didn’t take, the road not taken, the book not written, the adventure not pursued.
Don’t let your fears or laziness or made up excuses keep you from “making your music.”
Like many people I know, I’ve been dealing with some frustrating challenges lately. I don’t need to give them more energy by describing them in detail here, but one is health related and the other is financial.
One of the things I’ve noticed is that when I sit to visualize the outcomes I prefer, my mind has been wandering to some negative places. It’s as if part of me assumes that the positive outcome I desire automatically comes with some negative baggage.
For instance, if you were thinking about winning the lottery and then found yourself thinking about how to deal with all of the people that might hound you for part of it. Those extra thoughts turn what should be a joyful experience into a burdensome one.
