The Three of Cups Tarot card represents the celebration of bounty and good fortune. It shows three women jubilantly toasting the wonderful outcome of their work – an abundant harvest. I love this card’s message because it gives us permission to not only celebrate who we are and our hard work but also the right to be abundant. When do we at least stop for some time to reap the benefits of our labors? When do we celebrate ourselves?
I am learning to celebrate myself every day. When I wake up in the morning, I give myself the opportunity to start life anew. Why? Because I’m not the person I was yesterday. I had a series of lessons and opportunities to work through yesterday that allowed me to grow, expand, or contract in my consciousness and start the next day a different person.
Potentially, I don’t have the same limitations I had last night. Therefore today I allow myself to see the world through different lenses, hear the world with higher attuned reception, feel the world’s deep vibration with greater understanding, experience taste as a musical score being composed for the very first time, and smell my environment as acutely as a newborn baby.
When I start my day, I set off to experience it as a new episode of “This Woman’s Journey.” Who will I meet? What will I do? Where will I go? How will I express myself? What will I wear? You see, I’m on an adventure to discover additional aspects of myself I have no clue exist. I allow myself to be different. Different does not necessarily mean better or worse. The idea of better and worse means I’m judging the person I was yesterday and there is no judgment in this universe. I am just allowing myself to be expanded in this experience.
I meet some of the same people I saw yesterday. How will I greet them? I approach them as if I am meeting a long lost friend again. I’ll look into their eyes and acknowledge their greatness. We will talk about how we are, our feelings, thoughts and ideas. Our conversations are light yet very significant.
Today I will approach my work with no expectation of process or outcome. I allow myself to be a mirror for my clients so they can see who they are and how they want to move forward in their lives. What’s even more exciting is that my clients allow themselves to be my mirror. I am able to see how far I have gone and how much farther I have to go on my journey. We all have worlds to conquer and uncharted territories to discover today.
At the end of my day, I take an inventory of the things, ideas, and emotions I learned, discovered, and remain stuck in. I have shifted today. I am a little wiser, kinder, gentler, and more fun-loving over this sixteen hour or 960 minute or 57,600 second period of time. Wow! That is really a lifetime when we think about it!
So I celebrate me and my abundant harvest of experiences. I acknowledge my journey and the big and little actions I have taken today. I take it all in, smile and give myself a dozen compliments before drifting off to sleep. I allow the higher levels of my consciousness to process and reconfigure my cells and consciousness with the new energy, knowledge and understanding I created today.
What will tomorrow be like? It’s a whole new life and I don’t know what will happen but I anticipate another bountiful harvest of wonderful experiences worth celebrating.
